Descend through lush rainforest trails to the base of the iconic La Fortuna Waterfall, where crystal-clear water plunges 230 feet into a serene natural pool surrounded by tropical nature.

Along the way, enjoy the sights and sounds of birds and the soothing jungle atmosphere.

Once you reach the bottom, you can relax, take photos, or dip your feet in the cool waters.

After the waterfall, we’ll make a short stop at the El Salto River, a beautiful local swimming spot known for its natural rock formations and rope swing the perfect place to refresh and enjoy a bit of local fun before heading back.

This exclusive private experience is perfect for families, couples, and nature lovers looking for a peaceful yet adventurous outing.

We’re always flexible with time, so you can enjoy the hike and each stop at your own pace.

Description

7:30 AM – Private pick-up from your hotel or Airbnb in La Fortuna.
8:00 AM – Arrival at La Fortuna Waterfall entrance.
8:15 AM – 8:40 AM – Guided walk down to the base of the waterfall (approx. 500 steps).
Free time to enjoy the scenery, swim, or take photos.
10:00 AM – Hike back up through the rainforest.
10:45 AM – 11:15 AM – Visit El Salto River for a refreshing swim or photos.
11:30 AM – Return to your hotel with a complimentary beer or cold drink.
